Access Statement for the Kings
Introduction
We are twelve bedroom guest accommodation catering for families and couples. The following statement is a summary of the facilities which the Kings provide. If you have any further questions or queries don’t hesitate to call and we will endeavour to help.
Pre-Arrival
There are tram and bus stops opposite, which provide a frequent service. The main train station is fifteen minutes away by car depending on traffic. There is a local taxi service that has accessible taxis, if required we can make a booking for you.                                                                              
 We have a basic website and we have numerous reviews from customers via the trip advisor website.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
There are twelve marked parking bays. The surface is tarmac and slightly uneven in places.
There are patio seats and tables provided at the front of the car park.
We can assist guests with their luggage.
Main Entrance
Leading to the front door there is a raised tile area, this is 8 cm high.
The front has one step 15cm high. The front door is always locked so you need to press the bell situated to the right of the door on the door frame. The door is 85cm wide
On entry into our home there is a lobby 1.75m by 1.2m and then another door 82cm wide. There is then a hallway 4.5m by 2m, this leads to the main stair well, the bar & lounge and the dining room. The floor is laminated wood.
Public Areas
All corridors and stairs have short pile carpet. All corridors are 70cm wide. There are three fire doors on the corridors, one on the first floor and the other two on the second floor, they are all 65cm wide. All corridors have a good colour contrast and are well lit.
There are thirteen stairs to the first floor landing followed by a further thirteen stairs to the second floor landing. The stairs are 21cm high, 25cm deep and 82cm wide.
We have a male and a female toilet available via the bar area.
Bar & lounge and dining rooms
Drinks and bar snacks are served in the bar on the ground floor. There is a bar, a large screen TV, a pool table and two gaming machine. There is a fitted short pile carpet and a tiled area around the bar. There is fixed seating, bar stools and bar tables. There is an array of leaflets on display in the bar.
Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor. Tables have an under space of 93cm long by 41cm wide and 70cm high. There are chairs with no arms. We do not play background music in any area of the Kings.

Bedrooms
There are twelve bedrooms, five on the first floor and seven on the second floor. All our bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, televisions with remote control, fitted short pile carpet and a good contrast of colour on walls and floors.
Room 1
Door widths; main door is 70cm wide, the en-suite door is 69cm wide and the adjoining door to the bunk bed room is 69cm wide.
There is a double bed and bunk beds in this room. There are at least 72cm routes between beds, bedside tables and wardrobe.
Double bed is 55cm high, top bunk bed is 136cm high and the bottom bunk bed is 46cm high.

En-suite shower room
Door width is 69cm and wide inward opening. The shower cubicle has a step of 34cm high. The basin is round fronted and has a clear under space and is 79cm high. The toilet is 46cm high.
Room 2
Door widths; main door is 68cm wide and the en-suite door is 60cm wide.
There is a double bed with at least 46cm routes between the bed and wardrobe.
Double bed is 62cm high.
